This is an opportunity for me to practice putting my thoughts in writing. I am completely out of practice and should of started this earlier. I always wanted a career that allowed me to express myself. Teaching was the closest I came, but I hated all of the bureaucracy. I always loved to create stories and have my own weird opinions on what is going on in the world. So I created this blog. It will share what goes on in a creative mind such as mine. I began this creative blog with a not so creative introduction. Well, this blog isn’t exactly a mystery novel where we find a murdered body in the first scene asking the question, who done it? It also don’t begin like a romance where the lead character finds someone who she can’t stand but keeps bumping into again and again. (I don’t think my husband counts) I am not in outer space and a fairy didn’t observe my birth. There are no treasure maps.
The only mystery is why so many insane walk the streets of New York? I have never seen so many insane people in my life. Interestingly, there are usually the friendliest in New York as well. I have only been here for two months though. What do I know? I just know that so far if someone starts talking to you on the subway, they are usually not all there mentally. I hope my luck will change soon and I will be able to meet more interesting people here. (Unless they think I am the crazy one. . .) But, that would make an interesting conspiracy story. The government made the people insane by making the apartments too small and crowding too many people on top of each other, then making the rent so high that it is impossible to pay for it. All of the scenarios mixed together. . . slowly the population begins to lose it.
Yes, I am feeling lonely here. I haven’t had a conversation with an adult in a week. Besides the lady with two teeth who laughed a little bit TOO much on the train and the Nepalese lady who saw my children and told me how she left her kids in Nepal because they got on her nerves. (but other than that she was nice) Ok, end of personal drama. From now on I will keep it more political and discussion based.
